ARGOMENTO COSMOGONIE project is COSMO. A cosmos understood as MULTIVERSO seen, read and interpreted by comparing the most different theories that are narrated and explained on the occasion of meetings, events and conferences with an interdisciplinary character. The planning intention of the project, here in Pennabilli for its 19th exhibition stage, is to develop an atmosphere of synergy possible between the arts and sciences that does not neglect any discipline and favors mutual inspiration proposing interventions of physicists, astronomers, mathematicians, architects, poets, philosophers, astrophysics, botanists...
THE OPINION exposed are made by Paolo Barlusconi with the most diverse materials of everyday use and industrial production, used as elements, alphabetical or grammatical signs to articulate a story. However, the creative spirit is not left to chance... every work is elaborated by keeping in mind rules and geometric-material functions of proportionality (the Golden ratio, for example) according to which everything is structured according to balance relationships whose reason of being is marked by numbers.
MATEUREKA, the Mateureka, Museum of Mathematics and Calculation of Pennabilli (Rimini), preserves the memory of the tools and ideas that have made great the history of calculation and of mathematics thanks also to important archaeological findings, ancient instruments and mathematical texts and exciting laboratory rooms where, playing, experiment the concepts and ideas of mathematics with the intent to convey not only knowledge but, mainly, emotions. Among the many prestigious awards, the recent ones ofUniversity of Urbino who rewarded Mateureka “for the scientific rigour of exhibitions” and Mate in Italy that has reported it as “place of excellence for the dissemination inherent in Italy”.
